Envol.io : Fly like a bird !

Our app makes you fly like a bird : pilot a drone with the movements of your head, immersed into its point of view thanks to a VR mask (~$30). Rediscover the natural landscapes from a rare point of view.

Required : To pilot the ©Bebop (model 1 or 2), you need to have the Envol Speed App installed on another iOS device. The two devices will connect via Bluetooth.

Piloting : Intuitively, the drone moves forward in the direction you are headed. With the remote app, you control the horizontal speed and you can send take off and land commands. The reference attitude (the one in which the drone will neither turn nor change its altitude), is the one of your head when you take off.

First flight : The commands are very intuitive, but we advise you to begin with small movements of the head for your first flight, you will progressively feel what it makes to "be the drone" and your skills will quickly become very accurate.

Settings : In the settings, you can set the extent of the vertical speed and you can choose to activate the recording of the video automatically.

About us : We are seven students in our second year at the École polytechnique near Paris and we worked on this project with the idea of making the user fly like a bird. Do not hesitate if you have any suggestions or remarks concerning the apps, we would love to hear from you !

Important : We decline all responsibility in case of damages caused using the app. We strongly invite you to fly with someone near you, who can tell you if there is something behind the drone. We also encourage you to fly outdoor to enjoy the big spaces.
